Your academic choices determine the title on your diploma and the breadth of your experience at Washington State University. A combination of professional advisors and faculty mentors are available to guide you on your educational journey and help you develop your interests.

Research your options and choose your class schedule wisely to enhance your collegiate success. You are encouraged to complete your science and mathematics requirements within your first two years on campus. These core courses will improve your problem-solving skills and better prepare you for advanced classes in most every discipline.

Incoming Freshmen

During ALIVE! orientation, you will meet with an academic advisor who is familiar with your general area of interest as well as the general university requirements.

Transfer Students

Contact the WSU enrollment counselor in your region to discuss how you can meet the WSU core requirements and which courses at your current institution may satisfy any prerequisites you will need for your intended major.
