Whitson also authored “There is No William Blake: @autoblake’s Algorithmic Condition” in Essays in Romanticism, and co-edited a special issue of Romantic Circles Pedagogy Commons on “William Blake and Pedagogy.” He also presented “There is No William Blake: Twitterbots, Artificial Intelligences, and Posthuman Conditions” at the North American Society for the Study of Romanticism conference at University of California, Berkeley.

Velasco also presented at the University of the Aegean and International Small Islands Studies Association’s “Islands of the World XIV Conference 2016: Niss(i)ology and Utopia—Back to the Roots of Island Studies” in Lesvos, Greece, where she was honored with the ISISA 2016 student scholarship.
