There\u2019s so much more ahead, and we look forward to keeping you connected to the incredible work you\u2019re helping make possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With heartfelt appreciation,<br>GO COUGS!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Funds to the university food pantry to ensure that students can get the resources they need.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provided graduate and undergraduate scholarships based on both need and academic excellence.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support for the undergraduate History Club. Students organize historical movie nights, trivia events, and they bring in guest speakers to talk about issues that interest them.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Our graduate students are engaged in innovative and cutting-edge research for their master\u2019s theses and doctoral dissertations. Your contributions once again have enabled them to conduct research in archives spanning from Seattle and Chicago to Bangladesh, India, and England.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The department sponsored a <a href=\"https:\/\/cas.wsu.edu\/2025\/03\/11\/wsu-students-experience-history-through-field-excursions\/\">field trip<\/a> to the Whitman Mission National Historic Site and Treaty Rock of 1855 as part of their courses at Washington State University. Additionally, the students visited the site of the 1855 Treaty of Walla Walla on the Whitman College campus and were served a special meal of \u2018first foods\u2019 provided by Whitman College.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Thank you for helping us build momentum.
