There is now a single electronic form that you can use to make a nomination. The deadline to submit nominations to chairs and directors is&nbsp;<strong>5:00 p.m. on January 26, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chairs and directors must submit the unit\u2019s nominations to&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:cas.awards@wsu.edu\">cas.awards@wsu.edu<\/a>&nbsp;by <strong>5:00 p.m. on Monday, February 2, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wsu-row wsu-row--sidebar-right\" >\r\n    \n<div class=\"wsu-column  wsu-color-background--gray-0\"  style=\"\">\r\n\t\n\n<p class=\" wsu-font-size--xxmedium\">The instructions below outline the steps for our new process. If you have questions, please contact <a href=\"mailto:cas.awards@wsu.edu\">cas.awards@wsu.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Review <a href=\"https:\/\/cas.wsu.edu\/faculty\/cas-awards\/award-information\/\">Awards Information<\/a> for a list of available awards and eligibility criteria.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nominations are submitted through the <a href=\"https:\/\/cas.wsu.edu\/faculty\/cas-awards-nomination-form\/\">CAS Awards Nomination Form<\/a>.\n\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Near the end of the form, you will be asked to specify who should receive the nomination by email, typically the unit chair or director.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nominations are received via email and may include file attachments.\n<ul>\n<li>Reviewers and review committees must forward the email <strong>with attachments<\/strong> to their chair or director.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Chairs and Directors that receive the email may forward complete nomination packets to <a href=\"mailto:cas.awards@wsu.edu\">cas.awards@wsu.edu<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<\/div>\r\n\n\n<div class=\"wsu-column wsu-spacing-before--default wsu-spacing-top--medium\"  style=\"\">\r\n\t\n<div class=\"wsu-container wsu-border--add-left wsu-border--color-autumn wsu-spacing-padding-left--small\" >\r\n    \n\n<p class=\" wsu-font-size--medium\">Awardees are notified in mid-March.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" wsu-font-size--medium\">The College of Arts and Sciences Awards Reception is held each year in mid-April.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading  wsu-font-size--large\">Questions?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" wsu-font-size--medium\">Contact the Office of the Dean at&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:cas.awards@wsu.edu\">cas.awards@wsu.edu<\/a>&nbsp;or 509-335-4581.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\r\n\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Arts and Sciences Faculty and Staff, The process for award nominations has changed.
