Award-winning pianist Scott Holden will perform a free, public recital as part of WSU’s Summer Keyboard Explorations for teens at 7:30 p.m. Monday, June 29, in Bryan Hall on the Pullman campus.

His program will include works by Schumann, Haydn, Vernon Duke, Wagner, Liszt, and Strauss.

Holden is the chair of keyboard performance at Brigham Young University. He graduated from the Juilliard School where he was awarded the Horowitz Prize. As a Fulbright scholar, he studied and performed at the Liszt Academy in Budapest. His 1996 Carnegie Hall debut recital was a result of winning the Leschetizky International Piano Competition.
