2013 Undergraduate Multidisciplinary Research Competition (UMRC)
College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) students were challenged to develop proposals to address chemical waste and Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB) in the Spokane River. UMRC participants researched and developed options for reversing and preventing damage to the river and its unique ecosystem.
Note: This research competition is now known as the “Interdisciplinary Innovation Challenge (IIC)”.
