Plan Carefully

Research your options and choose your class schedule wisely to enhance your collegiate success. You are encouraged to complete your science and mathematics requirements within your first two years on campus. These core courses will improve your problem-solving skills and better prepare you for advanced classes in most every discipline.

Incoming Freshmen

During ALIVE! orientation, you will meet with an academic advisor who is familiar with your general area of interest and the University Core Requirements.

Incoming Transfer Students

Before you enroll, contact the WSU enrollment counselor in your region to discuss how you can meet the WSU core requirements and which courses at your current institution may satisfy prerequisites you will need for your intended major. After you enroll, you will be assigned to an academic advisor who can provide guidance for your degree program.

Current Undergraduate Students

Your advisor is a good resource! Be sure to meet each semester to review your goals.

If would like to change your primary area of interest, you may request an advisor change at the Academic Success and Career Center.

We’re here to help you. Feel free to contact an advisor or the school or department of the program that interests you.
