Various undergraduate courses incorporate service learning as part of the course requirements. Service learning provides opportunity for hands-on, experiential learning.

Undergraduate research opportunities:

  • Participate in research under the direction of psychology faculty by enrolling in Psych 498 or 499
  • Apply for department research and travel grants to support independent research and conference attendance under the direction of psychology faculty
  • Participate in the Department of Psychology Undergraduate Research Symposium, an opportunity for original research to be presented to the public

Admission to the Major Requirements

A student may be admitted to the Psychology major after completion of 30 credits, PSYCH 311 with a C- or better, and a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better.
