Purpose
Recognizes outstanding faculty peer mentoring and enrichment of peer-to-peer relationships between faculty members of all ranks, between faculty and staff, and across the college and the institution.
Criteria
A record of outstanding performance as a peer mentor, including specific examples of exemplary peer interaction and a range of mentoring activities. Nominees should be consistently supportive, knowledgeable within their discipline and about the institution, and provide regular guidance to their peers.
Specific Eligibility
Faculty at any rank in the College of Arts and Sciences.

Required Materials
All nomination packets must include the following materials:
- Nominee’s Curriculum Vitae
- Date of first faculty appointment at WSU
- Nomination Letter (Limit of one page)
A broad description of why the nominee is deserving of the award. Cite specific examples of relevant accomplishments, mentoring, and recognition. Describe distinguished mentoring performance and include external recognition of note.
