Outstanding Career Achievement-Career Track

Purpose

Recognizes faculty who have a high-level, long-standingreputation for leadership in teaching; scholarship, research, or creative activity; and/or service; and who have influenced the research and/or creative activities of students.

Criteria

Sustained evidence of accomplishments and leadership with a positive impact of this work for their discipline, WSU, and its students.  Established recognition of these accomplishments both within and outside one’s home department.  Nominees will be evaluated on their body of work since earning their terminal degree.

Specific Eligibility

Career Track faculty within the college at the full professor rank at WSU.

  • Nominee’s Curriculum Vitae
  • Date of first faculty appointment at WSU
  • Nomination Letter (Limit of one page)

A broad description of why the nominee is deserving of the award. Cite specific examples of relevant accomplishments, publications, and recognition. Include external recognition as appropriate.
