Introduction to the Toolkit
The CAS Communications team is a central resource for the Office of the Dean and the affiliated units of the college. We seek opportunities to amplify your research, celebrate your achievements, and increase the visibility of both your work and the college.
This online toolkit shares ways for the CAS communications team to support, as well as providing some self-service options.
Sharing News, Awards, and Recognitions with CAS Communications
The CAS communications team develops stories for internal and external audiences (channel examples: CAS News & Stories, e-newsletters, college website, social media, etc.) and works with the WSU News team to distribute external news primarily through WSU Insider.
As you are in the best position to share successes and work accomplishments, we would appreciate receiving related information for potential interviews, stories, social media highlights, and more. Within the communications toolkit drop-down menu, you may select “Submit News/Request Support” to access online forms for submitting “News & Stories” and “Achievements, Recognitions, & Awards” to the CAS Communications team. Additionally, there is a form to submit a “Creative or Promotional Support Request.”
You can email the communications team to inquire about support or to seek guidance in determining which communication options best fit your purpose and needs.
