GO COUGS!
- We welcomed 5 new faculty in FY25. Our Excellence Fund supported their relocation costs to Pullman.
- The department, along with the Office of Research, provided sponsorship funds towards the ICCB Conference (International Conference on Chemical Bonding) that our new Assistant Professor, Ivan Popo, helped organize. Dr. Kirk Peterson (WSU Chemistry) was a presenter along with Dr. Popov.
- The Excellence Fund supported the Graduate Visitation Weekend in March 2025, which successfully recruited 11 new graduate students starting fall 2025.
- Committed 2 years of startup funds in support of a career track hire. This will be used towards undergraduate research experiences.
- Support for our weekly Research Seminar.
- Supplies for Undergraduate Welcome Weekend.
