- Helped support scholarships and fellowships that provided financial support to undergraduate majors and graduate students, with funds used to cover expenses associated with participation in research or to offset research expenses. These contributions played a key role in promoting academic growth and facilitate degree completion.
- Used to bring visiting speakers to campus to present public talks about their research and share their experiences in meetings with students and faculty.
- Rented a university vehicle for graduate students and faculty transportation to the joint Northwest Anthropology Conference and Society for Applied Anthropology meetings in Portland.
