- During this period, spending was used to support a wide range of activities that helped improve learning, operations, and outreach. Office supplies, lab materials, and general items were purchased to keep workspaces organized and support hands-on instruction. Food and drinks were provided during meetings and events to create a welcoming environment, while catered meals supported formal gatherings. Postage and printing services helped with communication and sharing materials. Equipment rentals and technology purchases, including laptops and tablets, improved access to tools needed for work and study. Software services were maintained to keep systems running smoothly. Gifts and small items were used for recognition and engagement, and funds were also used to support student recruitment and retention efforts. Staff took part in training and conferences to build skills and stay informed.
- Travel expenses covered lodging, meals, and transportation. These trips allowed attendence to events, meet with partners, and take part in professional development.
