Award amount
The award amount per qualified student is dependent upon available funding.
Requirements to apply
- Enrolled on a WSU campus
- Must currently be pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in the College of Arts and Sciences
- Must be advised by a CAS or Health Professions Student Center advisor
- Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA
- Be in good academic standing
Deadline and review
Ad hoc funding is on a rolling basis. Following application submission, a student should expect two to three weeks before receiving a final response about their ad-hoc funding application.

The online submission application requires one to two responses based on the type of your request.
Be prepared to answer the following:
- Describe the reason for your funding request and provide as much relevant information as possible (500–word limit).
If your funding request is part of a research opportunity or program, also respond to the following:
- Please describe your research or program in detail and provide relevant links for this opportunity (200–word limit).
