Vilma Navarro-Daniels, professor of Spanish and film studies, and Maria Serenella Previto, associate professor of Spanish, CT, have published their research paper, “La narración del passado: sus olvidos y sus silencios. Una lectura de Hermanas de sangre de Cristina Fernández Cubas,” in ZUR Revista de Literatura, a refereed journal housed by Universidad de la Frontera (UFRO), Chile. In their paper, Vilma and Sere argue that in her theatrical piece, Blood Sisters, Cristina Fernández Cubas seems to propose an allegory for the politics of consensual oblivion carried out during the Spanish transition to democracy.
