WSU-Vancouver PhD candidate Ryan Wagner authored an article in National Geographic featuring research on how North American salamanders may be highly vulnerable to the fungus Batrachochytrium salamandrivorans, or Bsal for short. The article also features commentary from Dr. Susanna Masecar, a PhD candidate in Jonah Piovia-Scott’s amphibian research laboratory.
