WSU professors spoke with Oregon Public Broadcasting (OPB) about the 2026 draft water supply forecast for the Columbia Basin. The report, compiled by the Washington Department of Ecology and the State of Washington Water Research Center, predicts that in the future, the Columbia Basin will have less water available in the summer and early fall.
