As an Arts & Sciences student, your potential isn’t limited by your degree.

Through combination of your discipline studies and your UCORE selections, you’ll have opportunities to pursue additional subjects that spark your interest and you’ll build the soft skills—interpersonal communications, critical thinking, resourcefulness—that employers are always looking for.

Meet with our career coordinator for individual advice and feedback on a wide range of topics:

  • Identify career pathways.
  • Choose a major or minor.
  • Set personal, academic, and professional goals.
  • Find job or internship openings.
  • Evaluate graduate school options and assist with applications.
  • Polish your resume and cover letter.
  • Practice for interviews.
  • Articulate your skills, experiences, and education.

Student Appointments

Make your appointment via the Handshake platform:

  1. Open WSU Handshake to make a new appointment.
  2. Choose College of Arts and Sciences from the list.
  3. Select a topic of conversation.
  4. Choose a day and time.
  5. Add an optional note with additional info about your goals.
  6. Finalize by clicking Request!
