The Heart of the University

The College of Arts and Sciences is the largest academic unit in the WSU system and a powerhouse of research, scholarly, and creative activity.

Composed of social, natural, and physical sciences, humanities, mathematics, and the arts, the college’s foundational disciplines provide a strong framework for educational and research activities across the institution and fully support the University’s goal to advance knowledge through innovative scholarship and research.

Request for Proposals

The WSU Request for Proposals to encourage use of the Meyer’s Point Environmental Field Station is now open to all WSU faculty, irrespective of academic unit or campus.

An information session will be held on Monday, December 4, 2017, from 12:10-1:00 p.m. in 301 Thompson Hall. Video conference (AMS) will be made available for WSU system-wide access.

  • Proposals for spring 2018 activities are due by 5:00 p.m., Monday, December 11, 2017.
  • Proposals for summer or fall 2018 activities are due by 5:00 p.m., Friday, February 23, 2018.
