Personal Statement

I wouldn’t be here today if it weren’t for the continued support of family, friends, and faculty at WSU. I would like to thank my parents first, without whose guidance and support I wouldn’t be here at all. My girlfriend, Ali, who has stuck with me all this time and been my partner in crime for the majority of our time at WSU. Lastly, I would like to thank all WSU faculty without whose hard work and commitment students cannot make do. Specifically, I want to thank Dr. Andy O’Fallon, Dr. Zhe Dang, Dr. Tom Asaki, and Dr. Jana Doppa. Each of these professors has inspired me to strive for greater potential and to pursue answers to hard questions, and for that I am grateful to have been able to take their courses.

Future Plans

Alex is pursuing a job in software development and plans to return to school for a master’s or doctoral degree to study something in the sciences, still to be determined.
