Faculty Comments

In the time that I have worked with Megan, I have been humbled by her intelligence, creativity, and genuine care and concern for others. In my experience as a faculty member, it is often the case that students who are highly academically-driven are not involved in the many social and community engagement opportunities available in and around our campus. Conversely, those students who place a premium on social and extracurricular involvement often do so at the expense of their academics. Megan is the complete package—a bright, talented, motivated, collaborative, and kind individual. She has a bright future ahead of her.  Chris Barry

Personal Statement

When I look back at my four years here at WSU, I’m reminded of all the meaningful relationships I’ve fostered. I always say I choose my friends and I truly chose the best. I couldn’t have made it this far without the encouragement from my friends, my advisors and mentors (listed below) and most importantly my family. I am so incredibly honored to be representing WSU as an Outstanding Senior and I am grateful to all my people for supporting me in getting to where I am now.

Future Plans

Medical school is the plan, but she will take a year to confirm that is what is best for her. She might pursue clinical research or orthopedic surgery.
