The 2020 College of Arts and Sciences Outstanding Seniors will be honored at a reception on Friday, May 8, 2020. Everyone is welcome to attend!
To recognize and honor outstanding undergraduate senior students who have excelled in academic performance and service to the department/school/program, the university and/or community during their academic career at Washington State University. One student from each academic degree in the College of Arts and Sciences will be recognized:
- College of Arts and Sciences undergraduate students who will graduate in spring/summer/fall of 2020.
- Currently enrolled on the WSU Pullman campus
- Documented record of outstanding academic performance and valuable contributions or service to the department/school/program, Washington State University and/or the community during their undergraduate studies at WSU.
Individual nominations must be submitted to the nominee’s chair or director (or their designee) for consideration and endorsement. Nominators should check with the appropriate chair or director for the department’s nomination procedure, documents, and deadline.
Each undergraduate degree program selects its Outstanding Senior from the nominations received by the unit’s chair or director. Academic unit chairs and directors are responsible for completing the final submission form by the college deadline of February 21, 2020.
All Outstanding Senior finalists will be reviewed by the College of Arts and Sciences for consideration of special recognition at the spring and fall commencement ceremonies.
Once the 2020 Outstanding Senior has been determined, please use this form to submit the final name by midnight Friday, Feb. 21, 2020.
