Washington State University math major Annie Lu and English alumna and staff member Amethyst Freibott have received Fulbright U.S. Student awards to research and teach, respectively, in Hungary. They bring to 63 the number of WSU students and alumni who have received Fulbright awards to study, research, or teach abroad.

Anthropology doctoral candidate Daphne Weber is headed to Thailand as WSU’s first recipient of a Fulbright-Hays award, part of the renowned Fulbright suite of awards.
