Timothy Schrader, a first-year student majoring in tuba performance and music education,  placed second in the 2020 Music Teachers National Association Senior Brass Division Competition in April. WSU tuba professor Chris Dickey recently released his third solo album, titled “Inventions,” under the Emeritus Recordings label. The album was recorded in the WSU Recording Studio by recording engineer David Bjur.
